Parkes back in action at Assen
At Valencia, Broc visited the team and his condition appeared good, prompting team manager Sandro Di Stefano to say: ‘I am very happy that Broc visited us at Valencia, and I was delighted to see him in a good condition. I could see that his desire to race is always the same and I am now looking forward to seeing him on the track at Assen. I am convinced that once he is back to 100% fitness, he can be a contender once again. I wish him all the best for his return so that it can bring good results to the whole team'.
Parkes had injured himself in training, picking up a tibia fracture in his right leg, shortly after testing the Italian team's Honda CBR1000RR (photo) at Portimao at the end of January. He was then replaced by Joshua Brookes at Phillip Island and Sheridan Morais at Portimao and Valencia.
